I’ve heard of it but in Argentina….I was taking pictures of a X building and suddenly a cop asked me for my documents….I asked him why and then he told me that the embassy of I don’t remember what almost Non-existing country was on one of the stores..or floors…I think it’s almost the same that happened to you…but in Argentina.

I had the same thing happen to me one time walking around dt Tampa. I was taking pictures of the federal buildings (which I did not know were federal buildings at the time) when a security guard flagged me down. He didn’t give me a hard time or anything, but still (he told me federal marshals saw me from whatever floor and radioed down to him!). Kinda ruined my exploring for the day. Now I can’t help but feel instantly suspicious when I’m walking around down there, heh. The walls have eyes, oooh. Downtown St. Pete is way more chill 😉

Great perspective and the B&W works very well. Don’t go getting arrested for a few images. I will say that I have photographed the Bank Of America building downtown Tampa from the street and from the steps leading up to their entrance way and no one ever said anything to me. I must have been there for 5 to 10 minutes as I worked my way around the slinky sculpture out front.
